How to approach an unusual event using specially created Items, Summary descriptions and the Editor to map the event.

To create an Exhumation, first set the funeral type in the General area

You will need at least one special Item for an event like this. Most likely that will be a Transfer item in which the remain are Exhumed from their burial plot and moved to another location for investigation and/or re-interment.

As an Exhumation will always involve a licence from the local authority and possibly be accompanied by other relevant documents and emails, you can use the Upload functionality to store all relevant documents in the area of this account.

In trapping the additional charges in such an event, the User has the option of creating special disbursements or simply editing the description for existing disbursements.

Important Note - as the rules and regulations concerning Exhumation differ greatly from place to place, the example shown is merely an example of how Obit can be used. The User must become familiar with the local regulations and assure compliance with all relevant regulations. The use of Obit does not, in itself, imply compliance.
